"Swallow Duet"

I love watching swallows swooping and diving, an intricate choreography of aerial acrobatics. These are cliff swallows who made their home in the eaves of a faded red barn outside Pagosa Springs Colorado where I painted last summer with the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters.

I'm leaving this next week for Jackson Hole Wyoming for another RMPAP event to paint the Tetons.
On my agenda is to paint buffalo from life!  Stay tuned . . .
