Update:
I've been informed that we only made it to the Lake of Glass, not Sky Pond. That would explain why we kept missing seeing Lake of Glass (and we were not all blonde! so don't even go there). Guess we'll have to do it again, only ALL the way next time!! It will be a whole new adventure!

Yeah!! Finally made it to Sky Pond with my friend Kathy after getting rain/snowed out last week!! It was worth the wait though as the day was perfect. A little ice remained on the last boulder climb to the pond but not bad. The aspen in the park are just turning and should be ripe next week for a plein air marathon . . . Brushes ready!
