It's been pointed out to me by fellow artist
Rob Ibjema that my last post said I was
still working on my taxes! Agh! Guess it's
been awhile since I've posted. So here's some-
thing I've been experimenting with, painting
on MDF board primed with Amber Bull's Eye
Shellac. I took a bunch of boards with me plein
air painting this past week and really like the
surface and love how the paint handles and
shows against the warm, middle value. I need
a few more soft bristle brushes to get the edges
I want. Anyway, it's fun to experiment with
new materials!
